Bucking the trend… New Business opens during challenging times

The Exeter Trading Hub and Grow Coffee House are excited to announce the opening of a large centre which will house more than 40 independent traders.  The Trading Hub, in the centre of Marsh Barton, opened its doors on the 2nd December just in time for those wishing to get out and do some Christmas Shopping.  Shoppers are sure to be spoilt for choice with a variety of stalls selling everything from vintage, antiques and retro goods to industrial, furniture, homewares and gifts

Visitors to the Hub will be pleased to know that Grow Coffee House has opened its 3rd venue there too!  Visitors will be able to pop up upstairs for a bite to eat and a fresh cup of locally roasted coffee, compliments of Littlestone Coffee Roasters.  The independent Coffee House has continued its unique style and décor along the same lines as its other branches in South Street and Cullompton.  This means that visitors will be able to sit and relax in comfort, maintaining social distancing, as they eat and drink Grow’s delicious fare.

Grow Coffee House opened its first coffee shop on South Street in July 2019 and is both delighted and grateful for the support received from people across the city and beyond.

Grow Coffee House Operations Director, Rinny Frye said: ‘We’re so grateful for the support that we’ve received from everyone in the Exeter area and can’t wait to welcome everyone back again.  We strive to bring our customers top quality produce sourced from local producers.  As an independent business, we know how valuable people’s support is and so we try to pass that forward to our suppliers too.’

The Exeter Trading Hub will be open 7 days a week from 10-5pm (Monday to Saturday) and 10-4pm on Sundays and offers free parking in an ample sized car park.

Elke Meredith-Church, Founder and Owner of The Exeter Trading Hub said: ‘I’m excited to support local traders and with so much variety in the stock that I’ve seen being displayed, there is sure to be something for everyone.  Partnering with Grow Coffee House has been another highlight, with their amazing coffee being served in such a unique location.

The Trading Hub is located in the middle of Marsh Barton at 16 Marsh Green Road East Exeter EX2 8PQ.

The Exeter Trading Hub was born out of the idea to have a one stop shop for local traders to display their goods. We wanted to create a space where old meets new, where vintage sellers and independent contemporary shops could work together to bring a very unique shopping experience to Exeter.
