Horizon Academy Offer Half Price Jiu-Jitsu Classes This January
Exeter’s Brazilian Jiu Jitsu experts Horizon Academy are offering half-price classes to you and a friend if you both sign up for a month of classes in January 2018! At least one of you must be completely brand new to the academy, and all levels are welcome.
As New Year’s Resolutions are made, why not introduce a new skill into your life and take on the creative martial art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. More than just a means of exercise, Horizon Academy owners Zak Reed and Aki Alexander started the academy in June 2017 as they both feel passionate about preventing domestic abuse, educating women on self-defence, and the benefits of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in combatting depression, anxiety and stress.
Existing members will benefit from this special offer when they bring a brand new member into the group, or if you are both new then, of course, the offer is still valid. So why not try something new, and make 2018 your year of beginnings and fresh challenges.

Established in June 2017 by Zak Reed and Aki Alexander, Horizon Academy specialises in the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and hosts weekly classes for people aged 4 to 65, offering a free week-long taster for those new to the sport.

Head Coach Zak Red has been teaching and training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for the past 10 years. During this time, Zak has taught hundreds of students, both children and adults, in the art of Brazilian and Traditional Jiu Jitsu. His supportive and approachable style has made him popular with all his students and he is always delighted to welcome new members to the club. He holds a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Ben Hall.
