They say it takes a village to raise a child. In the case of Denbury, Devon, it takes a village to run a festival!
Although Spring is yet to show it’s sunny face, the team at Glas-Denbury Music & Arts Festival are putting the finishing touches to what promises to be one of (if not THE) best festivals in the South West this Summer.
On the 6th and 7th of July this year, thousands of people will descend on the beautiful Fairfield Farm on the outskirts of Denbury to enjoy an array of entertainment, partake in the finest local food & drink and experience what has become the most magical festival experience in the region.
There are few other festivals that are as inclusive and relaxed as Glas-Denbury and that is thanks, in huge part, to the festival Director Emma Twamley and her dedicated, passionate and hugely talented festival crew (all of whom are volunteers).
With an array of world-class musical talent (American Motown legend Martha Reeves and Nu-Reggae trailblazers Backbeat Soundsystem to name just a couple), a silent disco, top-quality poets and even Basil Brush (‘BOOM BOOM!’) there is something for everyone - all ages and all tastes.
