Five Hidden Gems on the Stagecoach Number 2 Route (Exeter to Newton Abbot)

Some people have the pleasure or making Exeter and the surrounding areas their permanent home. Others come and visit for a few weeks. And then there are some who make it their temporary home just for a day. Whichever of those groups you fit into, thanks to the popular number 2 bus route which we at Stagecoach operate, there is a wealth of opportunity and choice just a short bus ride away. Here are five examples to whet your appetite…

  1. EXETER QUAY (Exeter)

When the sun is shining, there are not many better places to be than Exeter Quayside, brimming with an abundance of things to see and do. Exeter’s Historic Quayside – just a short walk from the city centre – is one of the most attractive areas of the city, popular with locals and visitors alike for its fascinating history, interesting architecture and lively pubs and restaurants.
