Brexit Ready Exeter - Does Your Business Receive Funding From The EU Or UK Government?

When the UK leaves the EU there may be changes to how UK organisations, such as charities, businesses and universities are funded. If future access to EU and UK public funding is likely to affect your business, Brexit Ready Exeter is providing timely training on 29 October 2019.

The Funding workshop will be led by expert Tim Lane, a solicitor in Stephens Scown LLP’s corporate team. Named as a rising star in the latest edition of the independent guide to the legal profession, Legal 500, Tim advises clients on all aspects of corporate and commercial law, with a particular interest in funding and state aid. He has extensive experience advising clients on ERDF funded projects.

Practical Preparation without Politics

To get the full details on the Funding workshop, we spoke to Tim Lane ahead of the event. He says,

“We are going to focus on no deal, giving attendees an overview of the likely changes to the EU funding landscape. We will be covering the implications for the State Aid regime, effects for applicants for, and recipients of, EU funding and what actions businesses and other stakeholders should be taking.”
