New fitness studio opens in Sidmouth
Sidmouth’s fitness scene is expanding, with LC Fitness opening a brand-new studio in Station Yard.
The move is a lifelong dream for owner Lauren Clapp, 25, who has grown up in the town and until now has hosted fitness classes at Bike Sidmouth. You may remember Lauren from the front cover of our January edition of Grow earlier this year.
The new studio will see Lauren run her usual popular fitness classes – including LC Flow, Boxercise, LC Beatbox, HIIT, and LC Teenfit – with extra sessions added in the new timetable. New classes will follow in September, run by Lauren and her mother, qualified fitness instructor Sharon Clapp, 52.
The new studio also enables Lauren to take on more personal training clients, either one-on-one or in pairs/small groups.
“The last 18-months sharing a studio with Matt from Sidmouth Bike Studios has been absolutely brilliant, and the time is now right for me to take the next step and open my own studio – something which I have wanted to do for so long.”
“There will be an opening party on Saturday 17th August from 6pm to 8.30pm where clients (old and new) will be able to come and view the studio, book into classes, and share a celebratory drink. We will also be holding a raffle rising money for Action on Hearing Loss, for whom I am running the marathon in 2020 (after having to pull out of this years’ due to injury).”
Full details of the new timetable are available on the website www.lcfitness.uk, and classes and PT sessions are available to book now.
