CELEBRATE EXETER FOOD BLOG’S NEW MAKEOVER WITH THE CHANCE TO WIN A MEAL AT HARRY’S RESTAURANT
Since 2011, Eating Exeter has been reporting and reviewing the food and drink scene across Exeter and Devon. This influential blog renowned for their honest accounts, food photography and the latest food news is getting a major identity overhaul with a brand-new web address to reflect its expanding ambitions.
From the 1st August Eating Exeter will become ‘Eating Exeter, Dining Devon’ with the new URL www.diningdevon.com. Co-founded by Chris Gower, and more recently supported by food-writer Lauren Heath, the blog has gone from strength to strength as the duo regularly cover events, eateries and report foodie news.
The blog’s achievements were recognised in 2016, when it was put to the popular vote and became a Food Magazine Reader Award finalist.
Chris Gower says,
‘Devon has an incredible larder and exceptional chefs. Eating Exeter, Dining Devon is set up to celebrate our fantastic regional food and drink and champion the people who grow, rear and produce it. We wanted to take our brand to another level so our goal is to appeal to more readers across the county.
‘With over half of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram users accessing their social profiles daily, it’s no wonder there has been a shift in the way information is consumed. Blogs are so influential that they have now become an integral part of the marketing mix. We’re delighted that more restaurants, cafes, PR agencies, and farms want to work with us to communicate their news.’
To celebrate the rebirth, Eating Exeter, Dining Devon has partnered with one of their favourite independent restaurants, Harry’s Restaurant. One lucky reader can win a £150 voucher, perfect for a dinner for four or more! Head over to the Eating Exeter, Dining Devon Facebook and Twitter pages to find out how to be in with a chance of winning this fantastic prize.
