Stagecoach South West continues to support the armed forces community
Stagecoach South West is again supporting the region’s commemoration of one of the UK’s most significant memorial days.
On Sunday 11th November 2018, Stagecoach South West is offering free travel to all Armed forces’ current personnel, as well as veterans, across the whole of its Devon network.
Remembrance Sunday is a day where the nation remembers those who have given their lives and those who are still serving in the UK’s military.
This Sunday, all of Stagecoach South West’s network will be free for any Armed Forces Personnel to travel, continuing the company’s support of the UK’s military.
Bob Dennison, Managing Director said:
“Stagecoach South West is a long-standing supporter of current and veteran personnel. We are pleased to be able to offer free travel to our military and very proud to be supporting the armed forces communities.”
In March 2015, Stagecoach Group signed the Ministry of Defence’s Armed Forces Corporate Covenant in support of the Armed Forces Community. As a signatory of the Covenant, the company recognises the value serving personnel; regular and reservists, veterans and military families contribute to both the country and businesses across the country.
Remembrance services are taking place across the county this weekend.
