Mercedes-Benz Of Exeter To Host Open Air Cinema In Support Of Guide Dogs South West

Mercedes-Benz of Exeter is proud to announce its first ever open-air cinema event, with all profits being donated to Guide Dogs South West.

On Saturday 14th September, Mercedes-Benz of Exeter will be showcasing the box office hit, The Greatest Showman, at its dealership on Matford Park Road. Members of the public are invited to bring their camping chairs and blankets, and enjoy “The Greatest Show” on the big screen, under the stars.

All profits from the event will go to Guide Dogs South West. Guide Dogs aim is simple: they want people who are blind and partially sighted to enjoy the same freedom of movement as everyone else. They work with people of all ages, and their services help people to do the simple things that sighted people often take for granted.

It costs Guide Dogs over £55,000 to support a guide dog from birth through to retirement, so buying a ticket to the Open Air Cinema helps to give the guide dogs the training and development they need to make a difference to the almost two million people in the UK living with sight loss.

“We are thrilled to be hosting this event to support the fantastic work of Guide Dogs South West. We hope that families from Exeter and the surrounding areas will join us for what promises to be a sensational evening of entertainment” – Emma Brock – Group Marketing Manager, Mercedes-Benz South West

Food and drink will be provided by local vendors, yet to be announced, and parking, kindly donated by The Matford Centre (opposite the Mercedes-Benz dealership), will be available from 6.30pm.
