South Devon College wins prestigious AAT Training Provider Award.
South Devon College‘s Business Advantage attended the AAT Training Provider Awards last night where they received the award for Innovation in course design and delivery.
This annual Award Ceremony celebrates the outstanding contributions of accountancy training providers worldwide. Rachael Johnstone, Head of Business and Professional at the College, collected the award from AAT President, Vernon Anderson.
This new award category recognises training providers that have taken a unique or innovative approach to their delivery of AAT qualifications. The judges found South Devon College to be leaders in creating new and novel ways of engaging learners, stimulating the creation and sharing of knowledge, integrating learning and work, and generating business impact. The College also proved to help create and sustain an environment that fosters learning and is why the College were selected to win this award this year.
Winning the AAT Innovation in course design and delivery award is further evidence of how the Business Advantage is continuing to successfully build an esteemed reputation year on year; the team were nominated for Apprenticeship Training Provider in 2014, won the AAT Large Training Provider of the Year 2015 and crowned AAT Champion in 2016. This recognition proves their commitment to responding to the needs of local businesses and customer’s needs. The team have successfully created a professional and supportive learning environment, which allows students to develop the skills necessary to excel in a career in accountancy. Stephen Criddle, Principal of South Devon College said,

The success of winning the award reflects how South Devon College is impacting the growth of local business and personal development. The accountancy training available offers a progression route from the AAT Level 2 Certificate through to the AAT Level 4 Diploma and on to Certified Chartered Status through the ACCA.
