The winning image of a fishing boat at Axmouth Harbour was taken by Martin Lamb from St. Neots, Cambridgeshire. Martin, an amateur photographer, his wife and two girls have enjoyed five self-catering holidays in Seaton since 2010.

Martin said:

“We love Seaton’s beach, it’s quiet town, the scenery and the location being close to other attractions and places to visit. The photo was taken on a late August early-afternoon after a spot of crabbing at Axmouth harbour and a dip at the beach where the river meets the sea.”

Highly commended was awarded to Alex Moorehead from Beer with his beautiful sunset; Mark Herrick from Ilminster who captured a ‘Lady and her dog’ and a pink and orange sunrise by Polly Elizabeth from Seaton.
