Grow Local: Top Christmas Gifts For 2018 On Your Doorstep
Grow Talk by Sofy Robertson
First and foremost, a dog is for life, not just for Christmas. Grow’s list of local treats to buy your loved ones does not include our gorgeous cover pug. That said, let’s proceed with the article.
My sister and I are polar opposites. For the most part, she will have her Christmas shopping sorted by November, having squirreled things away throughout the year. Me, I’m more of a panic buyer. Every year, Christmas somehow sneaks up on me and with less than a week to go, I’ll be rushing all over town desperately paying any price to make up for my disorganisation. This year, I am (attempting) to make a change.
Now, there is no doubt that the High Street sellers, both online and off, have plenty to offer but if you’re looking for something that bit more special and unique, you’ve come to the right place. As we become increasingly aware of our carbon footprints and the impact of our consumerism, why not buy your loved ones a gift from one of our great local indies.
