Paris Street Window Takeover

Taking over Paris Street
The Paris Street Window Takeover was an initiative launched by Exeter based designer Charlotte Froud. The idea was to give Exeter emerging artists and designers a unique opportunity to takeover an empty high street window in the city centre.
Charlotte approached Princesshay with the idea of launching a competition to use an available space and they supported to project by offering the former Elk hairdressers’ space on Paris Street. Exeter City Council have also supported the project by awarding it with a Small Arts Fund.
The theme for the window is ‘Less Is More’ and the winning designers Jess Pearson, Susie Baird, Harriet Googe/ Corrine Ellis and Yellow Brick Road Design were selected out of many fantastic entries by a panel of expert judges to display their designs until the end of September.
