Wollen Michelmore – Taking the South West by Storm
Wollen Michelmore LLP are proud to announce their 2-year sponsorship deal, as front of shirt sponsors with the West of England KIA Super League Franchise, Western Storm, for the 2018 – 2019 seasons.
The Devon based law firm, with offices in Torquay, Exeter, Newton Abbot, Dartmouth and Barnstaple also sponsored Western Storm in the 2017 season when the team “stormed” to victory to become the KIA Super Leagues Champions. This new sponsorship brings more marketing opportunities for Wollen Michelmore, with training kit and ground branding at both Somerset and Gloucestershire County Cricket Clubs, as well as the front of playing shirt branding.
The KIA Super League will be twice as big in 2018 compared to last year’s tournament. All teams will now play each other, home and away, so double the fixtures means double the action! This also means more coverage for Wollen Michelmore, with Western Storm expecting to have at least 3 games featured on Sky Sports. Last year 200,000 people watched the KIA Super League final and 960,000 tuned into the KIA Superleague during the competition, providing great coverage for Wollen Michelmore and other sponsors.
2018 is looking to be another big year for Wollen Michelmore as they; have already merged with Exeter firm Morgan & Pope in April 2018, and won the Devon & Somerset Law Society’s Law Firm of the Year Award for firms with 11+ Partners, prior to now announcing their 2 – year partnership with Western Storm.
Trevor Griffin, Western Storm’s Head Coach announces:
“It’s fantastic to be working with Wollen Michelmore again this season – we share values of creating lasting relationships and working with the South West community, and their support really meant a lot to us all last year. Since we started our partnership, both Western Storm and Wollen Michelmore have won respective national awards – I hope this is a great omen that will keep us both winning again this year!”
Chris Hart, Chief Executive at Wollen Michelmore adds:
“Wollen Michelmore are delighted to be joining Western Storm in a new 2-year partnership as front of shirt sponsor following on from our successful sponsorship deal last year. To win the trophy in 2017 surpassed expectations and ensured phenomenal coverage.
We’re all hoping that the squad can match that success this season, and we look forward to working with the Western Storm players and coaching staff, and the Western Storm partners, Somerset County Cricket Club, Gloucestershire County Cricket Club and Exeter University moving forward. We wish them all the best of luck for the 2018 tournament!”
