A Cream Tea with Dollops of Business Networking

A Cream Tea with Dollops of Business Networking

About the Cream Tea Club

When it comes to business networking, people are often put off by the formality of suits, the pressure of referrals, or inconvenient early starts – maybe all three! That’s why the Cream Tea Club decided it was time to mix things up a bit and offer a genuinely informal alternative. Starting life back in 2015, the Cream Tea Club was created by Ben and Clare Stirling of Made with Maturity – a Plymouth based web design and digital marketing company. Their aim was to offer a regular networking event that would give people a relaxed atmosphere to build meaningful relationships.

The Cream Tea Club provides an opportunity for like-minded businesses to network in a relaxed atmosphere over a delicious, local cream tea in a collection of South West venues, all whilst raising money for charity. Each event takes place every other month in one of the many beautiful country houses and hotels that Devon and Cornwall have to offer. Previous venues include Hotel Endsleigh, Boringdon Hall, Fistral Beach Hotel, Mullion Cove Hotel, Salcombe Harbour Hotel and Spa, and The Moorland Garden Hotel (for a full list of previous venues visit the website www.creamteaclub.co.uk/corporate-venues/).

The Cream Tea Club is also supported by a number of corporate partners: www.creamteaclub.co.uk/partners/

Deer Park Country Hotel

Deer Park Hotel Event

The next Cream Tea Club event is being held at the stunning Deer Park Country House Hotel, Honiton on Thursday 8th November 3pm-5pm. A cream tea will be served on arrival but it’s not all about yummy cream teas and friendly conversation. Every Cream Tea Club event has specially chosen guest speakers, sharing business insights and best practice, and giving guests useable takeaways that can be implemented in their own business. The guest speakers for this event are Julian Salvi and Moray Low from Tomahawk Homes who will be speaking on “The Competitive Edge”. Once guests have heard from Julian and Moray there will be plenty of opportunity to network and even enjoy a tour of the hotel’s facilities.

So, if you own a business or have an interest in business and would like to get together with like-minded people for dollops of business networking in stunning surroundings – this is an event for you! Cream Tea Club events often sell out quickly so book soon to avoid disappointment here: www.creamteaclub.co.uk/book-now

Tickets only cost £12.50 + VAT which includes a cream tea and a donation to their chosen charity for 2018, Shekinah. Shekinah are a Devon based charity that provides opportunities for people affected by homelessness, drug and alcohol issues, offending behaviours or mental ill health.
