CITY Community Trust (CCT) organise inaugural Charity Golf Day
Grab a group of friends or colleagues and sign up for Exeter’s new fun and inclusive charity golf day.
Organised by leading health and wellbeing charity CITY Community Trust (CCT) the inaugural event takes place at Exeter Golf and Country Club on Thursday, June 21.
Fitting with the ethos of CCT, the event aims to be inclusive and innovative and appeal to everyone, from total novices to regular players.
Craig Townsend, business development manager for CCT, said:
‘We wanted to offer something a little bit different with this golf day. There’s going to be lots of different challenges and competitions, and also an opportunity for some coaching from the staff at Exeter Golf and Country Club.
‘The funds we raise from the event will go to supporting our work in delivering health, wellbeing and educational activities across the Greater Exeter area. Last year we reached more than 45,000 people through the work of our charity and this event will help us to reach even more.’
The event will finish in the venue’s clubhouse with dinner, drinks, a guest speaker and an auction of amazing prizes.
