Mercedes-Benz Van Centre Exeter Celebrates Its First Birthday In Style

More than 40 established and prospective customers from across the south-west joined the team at the Mercedes-Benz Van Centre Exeter for a party to mark the first anniversary of its opening.

Staged in the Retailer’s stunning new showroom on Hennock Road Central, Marsh Barton, the relaxed, enjoyable event included live music by local combo ‘Go Tell Alice’, and provided a perfect backdrop for members of the local business community to catch up on all the latest news from Mercedes-Benz Vans.

Many guests also seized the opportunity to sign-up to the Mercedes-Benz Van Centre Exeter’s new Privilege Club, which provides valuable discounts and exciting offers. This operates on two levels – the more exclusive tier is designed for those who are already Mercedes-Benz van customers; the other is for those who run light commercial vehicles but have yet to commit to one bearing the famous three-pointed star.

The Mercedes-Benz Van Centre Exeter sells and supports the award-winning Mercedes-Benz Vans range, which comprises the ground-breaking, third-generation Sprinter, as well as Vito and Citan models, and the X-Class, the first pickup to wear a three-pointed star.

Part of the family-owned Snows Group, which represents a variety of vehicle marques and has been serving motorists in southern England for more than half a century, the Retailer has made a flying start since it began trading from its purpose-built, £1.4-million premises last year.

Among those attending its first birthday party were Godfrey Taylor and his wife Patricia, the proprietors of Exmouth-based fancy dress costume business, Aladdin’s Cave – their latest Vito van was the very first vehicle to be supplied by the Mercedes-Benz Van Centre Exeter. Mr Taylor confirmed:

“It made for a very pleasant change. We were very well looked after indeed.”

His comments were echoed by Mark Chappell and Ashley Turner, from Baymoor Interiors, of Newton Abbot, who have just taken delivery of their new Mercedes-Benz Vito. Mr Chappell enthused:

“We enjoyed the event, while the facilities are fantastic. The showroom is very smart but also relaxed and comfortable, while the staff couldn’t be more helpful.”

Snows Group Director Alex Domone declared:

“Our Exeter team are committed to ensuring that customers enjoy the finest acquisition and ownership experiences. We’ve had a fantastic first year since we joined the Mercedes-Benz Vans family, and the party was a great success in helping colleagues to cement relationships with members of the local business community.”
