Jelly South West – Collaborative Co-Working

Jelly South West – Collaborative Co-Working

Jelly South West host co-working community events where freelancers, homeworkers and small/micro business owners bring their laptop or other work and work, chat and collaborate with other small business owners.

The Jelly’s are open to ‘all’, including start ups and pre start ups to come along and discuss their ideas, and gain support and advice.

East Devon Jelly was born 3 years ago offering one per month in Honiton, it has then since grown with current flexi / remote working and freelancer growth trends to now offer 7 locations (including Grow Cafe)  a month in various locations throughout Devon. This year saw a development with the East Devon Jelly becoming Jelly South West CIC, a new born Community Interest Company offering a larger scope of free Jellys through the South West alongside offering free workshops and speakers.

The Jelly’s have grown to the demand from the microbusinesses / freelancer / homeworker and with over 500 people engaging in the #jellytribe and building a great freelancer support community.

The Jelly’s help build a cohesive and collaborative local economy, especially in rural areas, within Devon where there is a strong number of small/micro businesses.

Jelly’s differ from networking in that the aim is not to ultimately to find new clients or to just sell yourself or your business. Coworking means meeting up with like-minded people to work alongside.

Jelly South West is currently looking for sponsors to help with the expansion of all the free events and gives  the opportunity for the small freelancer to sponsor to offering a larger package for the larger business.
